maroot-w“Dr.Jen is a kind, compassionate, caring vet and friend. Her skills go beyond traditional medicine and include chiropractic, acupuncture, massage techniques, equine functional biomechanics, knowledge and understanding of training and most important to me an ability to explain how to best help my horse in common language. I first met Dr.Jen when another vet in the area recommended I work with her for a horse of mine that was struggling with healing from a tendon injury. Dr.Jen not only helped me with that horse, but we’ve also worked closely with my senior dressage horse and a few other client horses. Whether you are new to Chinese medicine or have experience with these therapies, Dr.Jen can work with horses, humans, and other professionals to bring out the best in the horse. Highly recommended!”

fisk-w“Dr.Jen is a great part of our endurance distance team being that one exceptional vet that gets us all through. She has taken care of my Arabian geldings and has seen us through a number of VT100’s (those one-days are tough) and she’s been there to get me through many 50 milers. Every step of the way, she’s watched and monitored us through the enduring part of the 100 that sometimes feels impossible to complete. We don’t always get to the end but she carefully keeps track of us, which I so rely on. Knowing our horses is key; keeping them safe and comfortable is a relief off my mind. She looks for us at the holds and is extremely helpful and gives you confidence when you need the little push after you’ve gone so many miles in extreme conditions. Thank you for being there for us, and look so forward to the next VT100!”   ~Deb & Prophet

tide-tn“Dr. Jen not only makes the horses feel better but generously shares her veterinary knowledge with the owners to help them make informed decisions regarding their horses’ care. She has a rare ability to combine techniques from western and eastern medicine to not only treat the horse’s symptoms but also to identify the underlying cause of pain. I highly recommend her to anyone who values their horse’s level of comfort and performance!”

franco-tn“At age 18, our pet therapy donkey became painful and neurologic in his hind end. After x-rays could not reveal a cause and pain medication didn’t help, it was clear that Franco was a raggedy ass going in the wrong direction fast! Along came Dr. Jen and now he is up and running again, living up to his nickname of “Honker” and acting as a goodwill ambassador in the retirement home.”

danelle+spencer1tn“After having two horses that couldn’t be more different from one another, seen by Dr. Bevilacqua, the benefits from her work really came through. When the herbal medicine, chiropractic, and acupuncture were combined, I could really experience how they helped to optimize performance and minimize pain in any horse or discipline.”

tana-tn“Dr. Jen Bevilacqua has been a part of my horse’s health care team for 3 years. I am also a veterinarian and consider myself Tana’s primary doctor. I find that Dr. Jen adds a level of care beyond what I can do as a general practitioner. She takes the time to listen to me and then she uses her chiropractic and eastern based medicine approach to “listen to” my horse’s body. She often detects subtle changes in Tana’s body that we can then address by acupuncture treatments, spinal manipulation, diet and exercise. Dr. Jen has helped me continue to improve my horse’s ability to compete in many different sports.”
